Debuting on the Super Nintendo, Super Metroid is considered by many to be one of the best games of all time, and I fully agree with that statement. The game has you as Samus Aran, an intergalactic bounty hunter who has travled back the planet Zebes in order to save a baby metroid from the space pirates. To complete this task you must explore the planet Zebes and collect upgrades to your suit.

As one could imagen, the planet Zebes has a wide variaty of large, and imaginatve locations from the volcanic caverns of Norfair, to the watery depths of Maridia. All of the areas even have distinct smaller areas within them. You also get a wide range of new abilitys as you progress trough the game. You may also find out you have some hidden abilitys as well, I won't tell you how to access them because discovering them is part of the fun.

Super Metroid is an Amazing game, and the fact that people today still say it is one of the best games of all time speaks volumes of how good this game is. I highly recommend this game to people who love to explore if you can find it at a decant price, it is an old game after all.
